Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) is crucial for building a fairer, sustainable future. It empowers learners of all ages with essential knowledge and skills to tackle global challenges like climate change. UNESCO leads this effort, inspiring action toward the Sustainable Development Goals. The UNESCO-Japan Prize, a key part of this initiative, recognizes and amplifies impactful educational projects globally.
BEE’s role was to craft a visual story for the Prize that enhances ESD’s global visibility, showcases the achievements of the Prize winners, and motivates a wider audience to engage in this transformative educational movement. Our goal was to present a compelling narrative that conveys the ESD Prize’s objectives and impacts, engaging a broad audience to support sustainable education worldwide. As part of the task, we coordinated with local teams for interviews and visuals, blending these with additional footage to create a final video that is not only informative but also emotionally resonant, inspiring viewers to become active participants in the journey towards sustainable education.
