We produced this ’video report’ based on research conducted on home energy refurbishments in Hungary. The video emphasizes through simple messaging, how different actions can help not just in reducing CO2 emissions, but also for families to cut their energy costs. Instead of overused graphic or info video styles, we utilised a unique paper-cut technique combined with live animation and stop motion.
We first designed 12 different house templates, and then cut out more than 150 individual buildings to build a whole city and different streets views – even a detailed apartment interior. All paper element are in 3D which gives a special atmosphere to the video. The project was completed with our main partner Energiaklub.
