Pneumonia poses a real threat for children under 5 years old. The Netherlands Red Cross supported a program in five African countries to address the problem by using a behaviour change communication (BCC) method. This method builds on community engagement and can be used not only in the health sector but others like water and sanitation, disaster risk reduction and shelter. BEE contribute to this project by producing a training material for the Red Cross and Red Crescent team members and beyond.
