From dire heat stress to devastating floods, cities are facing increasing challenges due to climate change. The good news is that nature itself provides many ideas on how to address these issues. Closing the four-year long NATURVATION program, ICLEI wanted to creatively summarize the work from six cities to integrate “nature based solutions” into their urban development, and inspire others to learn from their experiences. 

BEE was asked to bring these stories to life, and we designed a unique book that represents the six European cities and their implementing partners. Focusing on the voices of the people who were involved in the project we came up with a personal style, full with illustrations, sketches and hand drawn maps.  (Read the book here.)
